“It is always heart whelming to know the management cares about the well being of its employees & family.
The lockdown has been difficult for me to adapt (as I like to be on field & in action all the time). Initial week went in closing & coordination of logistics w.r.t supplies & COVID19 validation at NIV followed by week 2 in conveying & making each & every member understand the new company changes & preparation of data requested by NSU whereas week 3 has kept us engaged with trainings & knowledge development
When lockdown was announced I personally kept a tab on each & every team member's well being until they reached their destination / home safely. This concern did not end as few team members were involved in validation at NIV (I am sure Sandip & Faisal must be bugged by me asking them - if they follow the safety protocols on a daily basis several times a day!)
During the work from home weeks there has been a good amount of time to spend with family & help them with the daily chores (washing, brooming, cooking etc) & spending quality time with my little one as well (something that I always cribed about even during the BTW sessions). Now the irony is that Fatema is tired seeing me at home & is eagerly waiting for the lockdown to end (so that I get back to field work - maybe she is tired of me demanding different varieties of delicacies
Besides I'm also doing my little bit towards the society - generating funds in my area for the needy & helping them with their daily needs.
Also followed & participated in PM's request - clapped & rang bells to thank those fighting at the forefront against COVID & also lighted candles to show the nations collective resolve & solidarity in its fight against COVID. As I lit candles, I seeked guidance from God asking for the darkness in us to be dispelled & prayed to end the sufferings of so many & for each other's well being!
Hope the lockdown ends soon & life returns back to normalcy & the sufferings of so many also come to an end soon!
